Welcome to "Plants and Pillars", the Children's Ministry of Maranatha Fellowship: "That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as pillars, sculptured in palace style." ~ Psalm 144:12
Our mission is to bring glory and honor to the Lord by
Inviting children to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and to encourage them to share Him with others.
Discipling children in their walk with the Lord through teaching God's Word, modeling Christ, and loving one another.
It is an honor to welcome your children to our children's ministry. We believe that God has given the first responsibility of children to parents; therefore, we see our role, as the Children's Ministry of Maranatha Fellowship, to partner parents in leading their children into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
Each week we strive to present the message of Jesus in fun and creative ways. Your child will experience teaching that is age-appropriate and centered on Biblical Truth.
We understand that there is nothing more precious to you than your child. That is why we work very hard to create a fun and safe learning environment.
We look forward to sharing the love of Christ with your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call!

Cry Room Available at the back of the sanctuary for nursing mothers.
Worship/Singing Here at Maranatha Fellowship, we love to hear the voices of our youngest members mingled with ours in praise and worship. Because we like to encourage families to worship together as a unit, we do not provide a separate worship/singing session for children. Please keep your children with you during this first segment of the service. Children will publicly be dismissed to their classrooms after worship is over. The nursery is available for the entire service for infants.
Nursery We have a sunny, clean nursery in which to care for little ones from infancy through age 2. It is our desire to provide security and loving care for your child.
Toddlers/Pre-K Toddlers and Pre-Kindergarten children will learn Bible stories through creative, age-appropriate means including singing, stories, active play, and object lessons. We request that children be potty trained before joining this class.
Primary Class Encompassing Kindergarten through 3rd grade, students will begin using our unique curriculum, which will begin their journey through the Bible in three years. Children will learn how to find their way around the Bible and will also enjoy creative activities which reinforce the concepts learned in the weekly lesson.
Pre-Teen Class Our pre-teens include 4th through 6th grades and continue through the Bible using our unique curriculum. Their lessons may include mapwork, memory verses, and making personal applications.
Junior High Class Middle schoolers who attend this class regularly will learn to focus on key words, Biblical themes, how to cross reference, and apply scripture to their own lives. We seek to give students this age meaty lessons beyond the Daniel-in-the-Lion's Den basics because we know the scriptures will equip them for the challenges they will face as teens. Members of this age group may also apply to serve as a student volunteer in the younger classes.
Missions Sunday Each time the calendar provides us with a 5th Sunday, we designate that as our "Missions Sunday". Our children have passports and will "travel" to other countries of the world, hearing missions reports and learning about our responsibility to take the gospel to all nations as mandated in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).
Invest The life changing love of Jesus Christ is best communicated to children through godly, caring, dedicated adults. By teaching children one hour per week, you will be making an eternal investment in their lives, and building precious relationships. We encourage you to contact us if you would like to be a part of this vital ministry. (402)-502-1072.
